Welcome to my eportfolio! On here you will learn a little bit about myself and what I've learned during my attendance at Salt Lake Community College. I'll display more specifically my involved community hours, learning outside the classroom, my involvement with Americorps, and a few of my general education courses. Let's jump to it!
About Me
I love to be outdoors soaking up the nature around me. I enjoy hiking and am excited to take on the 4 day challenge of hiking Machu Picchu next May. It has been on my vision board to experience a piece of Peru and checking that challenge will be very fulfilling.
My husband and I have been together for 4.5 years. I'm currently in the dental hygiene program at Salt Lake Community College and he has been supportive of my choice since day one of pre-requisites.
The program has been one of the most life changing things for me. It has helped me mature, brighten up my attitude, become more vulnerable, and molded me into the woman I've always imagined.
Favorite Things
Just to name a few hobbies I like to mountain bike, hike, cycle, slack line, run, go camping, and swim. I also enjoy doing triathlons I like the mental push more than the physical challenge. I love to try new things too you can never go wrong with exploring and possibly finding a new passion. I do have a crafty side but it's hard to do with such a busy life. I love sewing, crafting and photography. Photography opens up my eyes and I learn to observe and learn from everything around me. It really makes you look at everything in a detailed perspective and observe what's really around you.
